3G Capacity Expansion Trial
The expansion trial of 3G capacity at key locations on the Hong Kong MTR network has recently been finalised by RFE.
The project involved network splitting to double the 3G network capacity at Mongkok Station, Prince Edward Station, and in the Admiralty/Tsimshatsui tunnels.
The successful completion of the project was made possible through RFE’s specialised skills in project management, co-ordination and interfaces, design and supply, installation, testing, and commissioning.
RFE continues to provide warranty support for the 3G systems.
