  • Shatin to Central Link 1162B – Radio Distribution Network for SCL Phases 1 & 2

    Timescale: Timescale: 2015 – 2020 + warranty

    Design & supply, installation supervision, testing & commissioning and warranty support of Radio Distribution Network (RDN) for SCL Phases 1 & 2.  The scope includes RDN for 10 SCL stations & tunnels, base stations for Police & Fire Services and DCS cellular system at Back-of-House areas. 

  • Distributed Communications System for Cellular Systems in West Island Line

    Timescale: Timescale: February 2014 – December 2014 + warranty

    Design & supply, installation supervision, testing & commissioning and warranty support of Distributed Communication System (DCS) integrated cellular network for 6 frequency bands and 5 operators at MTR West Island Line.  The network provides Multiple in Multiple Output (MIMO) solution for LTE systems.  The network covers the station public areas, tunnels, high speed elevators with multi-band combiner and optical amplifiers covering 20 sub-bands 800-2600 MHz all 2G to 4G services in Hong Kong.

  • Shatin to Central Link – Remote In-saloon CCTV Monitoring System (RISTV) for SCL Phase 1

    Timescale: Timescale: September 2013 - December 2018 + warranty

    Provision of RISTV system that includes central server and dispatch workstations, train-born server, train-born combiner and multi-band antennas to transmit in-train CCTV video signals via 3G/4G network back to SCL Control Centre.

  • Radio Network Modification at MTR EAL Buildings

    Timescale: Timescale: July 2013 – November 2015 + warranty

    Project Management, Design & supply, installation supervision, testing & commissioning and warranty support of the modification of the Radio Distribution Network at Hung Hom Station, Ho Man Tin Siding, Mong Kok Freight Yard and Lo Wu Marshalling Yard for the EAL Integrated Radio System, FSD Digital Radio and future SCL O&M TETRA Radio.

  • Shatin to Central Link – TETRA System for SCL Phases 1 & 2

    Timescale: Timescale: May 2013 – October 2020 + warranty

    Design & supply, installation supervision, testing & commissioning and warranty support of the Radio Radiation Network (RRN) for TETRA System for SCL Phases 1 & 2.  The scope covers new and enhanced optical amplifiers and antenna system for TETRA system at existing sites in EAL, MOL and WRL.

  • Modification of Coverage Networks for HKP/FSD Radio Systems

    Timescale: July 2011 – December 2013 + warranty

    Project management, co-ordination & interfaces, design & supply, installation supervision, testing & commissioning and warranty support to upgrade the existing MTR radio network to provide coverage for digital radio systems of HK Police (HKP) and Fire Services Department (FSD) in over 80 MTR stations and associated track areas.  The upgrade work includes station antenna network, trackside network, radio and optical repeaters and a network management system. 

  • South Island Line – Radio System

    Timescale: February 2012 – July 2015 + warranty

    Project management, co-ordination & interfaces, design & supply, installation supervision, test & commissioning and warranty support of the Radio Systems for MTR South Island Line.  The system consists of O&M Radio System, HK Police and Fire Services Radio System with amplifiers and leaky cables to provide the radio coverage.  It also includes Electronic Information Display and Remote In-saloon CCTV Monitoring System.  The system covers five stations, one depot & associated tracks.

     

  • West Island Line and Kwun Tong Line Extension – Radio System

    Timescale: December 2010 – May 2015 + warranty

    Project management, co-ordination & interfaces, design & supply, installation supervision, test & commissioning and warranty support of the Radio Systems for MTR West Island Line and Kwun Tong Line Extension.  The system consists of radio base stations, amplifiers and leaky cables for MTR, HK Police and Fire Services Dept.  It also includes Electronic Information Display and In-cab CCTV System.  The system will provide radio coverage for five stations & associated tunnels.

     

  • Split Sector Improvement for Mobile Phone Coverage

    Timescale: June 2010 - September 2011

    Project management, co-ordination & interfaces, design & supply, installation, testing & commissioning and warranty support of the splitting of 3G part of the Distributed Communication System (DCS) at 15 selected stations and associated tunnels, providing coverage of PMRS, as well as PCS and 3G mobile systems of Urban Lines and LAR.

  • Maintenance Service for Radio Systems (TETRA radio, HPS radio, HK Police and FSD)

    Timescale: September 2009 – September 2015

    Comprehensive first line, second line and preventive maintenance for the radio systems of Disneyland Resort Line including TETRA radio, HPS radio, HK Police and FSD radio systems; HKP and FSD radio systems along East Rail Extensions.

  • Maintenance Service for Commercial Radio Systems

    Timescale: May 2006 - December 2011

    Comprehensive first line, second line and preventive maintenance for the Commercial Telecom System in MTR Urban Lines, Tseung Kwan O Line, Lantau and Airport Line. Networks include 2LCX, PFS, PCS, TKE, DRL and UMTS; services include 172 & 280 MHz paging, USDC (CDMA), GSM900, PCS (DCS1800) and UMTS for all operators.  

  • Lohas Park Station & Tunnel - Communication and Radio Systems

    Timescale: October 2006 - July 2009 + warranty

    Design, supply, install, test and commissioning of the communication and radio systems at Tseung Kwan O Lohas Park Station including the station and connecting tunnels.  The radio system includes base stations, control consoles & interfaces, integrated combining system and network to carry radio signals dedicated separately for MTR staff, police and fire services.  

  • Lohas Park Station & Tunnel - Mobile Phone System

    Timescale: July 2008 - June 2009 + warranty

    Project management, co-ordination & interfaces, design & supply, installation, testing & commissioning and warranty support of the Distributed Communications System (DCS) to provide cellular radio coverage, including GSM, PCS and 3G for MTR Lohas Park Station including entrances, concourses, platforms and connecting tunnels. The DCS consists of Point of Interconnection (POI) equipment, radiating cable network, amplifiers and network management system (NMS). 

  • Light Rail TETRA Radio System – Under Podium Coverage Network

    Timescale: September 2006 – March 2009 + warranty

    Project management, co-ordination & interfaces, design & supply, installation, testing & commissioning and warranty support of the radio repeating network to cover the podiums of the major LRT stations & depot. The Light Rail radio system is a 800 MHz TETRA-based radio design for train drivers and maintenance staff.

  • West Rail Radio System Upgrade for HKPF CCIII

    Timescale: October 2007 - August 2008

    Design, supply, test and commissioning of active and passive components to upgrade existing common antenna network for Hong Kong Police Force 3rd Generation Radio System of West Rail.

  • East Rail Extension - Lok Ma Chau Line Integrated Radio Systems

    Timescale: April 2003 - December 2006 + warranty

    Design, supply of leaky, antenna and amplifier system, installation, test and commissioning, and warranty support of Integrated Radio System for MTR East Rail Extension Lok Ma Chau Line. The system provides radio systems for train drivers, maintenance, operation and security personnel and covers 2 stations, over 2 km track and tunnels and adjacent road network.

  • East Rail Extension - HKP & FSD Radio Systems

    Timescale: August 2002 - December 2006 + warranty

    Design, supply, installation, test and commissioning, and warranty support of Radio Systems for Hong Kong Police Department and Fire Services Department at East Rail and East Rail Extension including Ma On Shan Line, Tsimshatsui East Line and Lok Ma Chau Line. The system comprises base stations, leaky cable and antenna systems, optical amplifiers network, emergency control panels and a network management system to provide radio communication for HK Police Department and Fire Services Department personnel in 23 stations and over 50 km track lengths.

  • Disneyland Resort Line - Radio System

    Timescale: October 2002 - September 2006 + warranty

    Design, supply, install, test and commissioning of the 800 MHz TETRA radio systems for MTR and analog radio for police and fire services at Disney Resort Line and AsiaWorld Expo. The system includes a multi-band leaky cable, antenna and optical amplifier system to deliver the radio signals inside the tunnels and open track areas. The system also includes the train-borne radio with dispatch and a digital voice announcement unit. The main works for Disneyland Resort Line was completed in May 2005.  The extended work for Asia World Expo station and Sky Plaza platforms was completed in Aug 2006.

  • Tseung Kwan O Extension - Enabling Works for TKL DCS for 3G Services

    Timescale: September 2004 - August 2006 + warranty

    Design, supply, install, test and commissioning of the 3G radio systems for the radiating network for carrying mobile telephone signals at Tseung Kwan O Extension.

  • East Rail Extension - Integrated Radio Systems

    Timescale: April 2001 - December 2004 + warranty

    Design, supply of leaky, antenna and amplifier system, installation, test and commissioning, and warranty support of Integrated Radio System for East Rail Extension including Ma On Shan Line and Tsimshatsui East Line. The system provides radio systems for train drivers, maintenance, operation and security personnel and covers 11 stations, 1 depot, over 20 km track and tunnels and adjacent road network.

  • Light Rail Signaling System Quasi-synchronous Radio Sub-system for Signaling Data & Voice Communication

    Timescale: July 2002 - March 2004 + warranty

    Design, supply, install, test and commissioning, and warranty support of quasi-synchronous radio system in Light Rail. The radio system provides radio data and voice communication between the control centre, train vehicles and hand portables

  • Lantau Airport Railway Phase 2 - Radio Systems

    Timescale: April 2000 - October 2003 + warranty

    Design, supply, install, test & commissioning, and maintenance of the radio systems for train operations, staff communications and Hong Kong Police Department at Lantau Airport Railway Phase 2.

  • West Rail Telecommunication Systems Radio Sub-system

    Timescale: January 2002 - October 2003

    Supply of the radiating cable system, combining equipment and optical amplifiers system for radio systems in West Rail. The system carries 800 MHz TETRA train radio, 800 MHz Fire Services radio and 390 MHz Police TETRA radio. The work also includes installation and set up, test and commissioning of leaky cable and amplifier network.

  • Tseung Kwan O Extension - Radio Systems

    Timescale: September 1999 - August 2002 + warranty

    Design, supply, install, test and commissioning of the radio systems for train operations, staff communications, police and fire services use, and the radiating network for carrying mobile telephone and PCS signals at the Tseung Kwan O Extension.

  • Light Rail Radio System Enhancement Project

    Timescale: November 1999 - September 2001 + warranty

    Project management, supply, installation, test and commissioning of the radio system that replaces the old radio sites to cover Light Rail.

  • PCS Integrated Radio Network Contract

    Timescale: April 1997 - May 1999 + warranty

    Project management, design, installation supervision, test and commissioning, and maintenance of the PCS Integrated Network for the public area of the stations and tunnels including operating railway and Airport Express. The system provides coverage for 44 MTR Urban Line and Airport Line stations together with over 100 km of tunnel tubes. Over 300 km of wide band radiating and RF cables, 100 sets of optical and channelized amplifiers, together with 1500 antennas, other cables and accessories.  The project was completed in May 99 with all stations were advanced before scheduled milestones by 1 to 6 months.  The System is now maintained under the monitoring of the offered Network Management System.
