Modification of coverage networks for HKP/FSD Radio Systems
The contract to upgrade the existing radio network on the Hong Kong MTR—across 80 stations and associated track areas—has been won by RFE.
This project is designed to deliver digital radio systems coverage for the Hong Kong Police (HKP) and for the Fire Services Department (FSD) in these areas.
The project scope incorporates a station antenna network, a trackside leaky cable network, radio and optical repeaters, plus a network management system.
To ensure successful implementation of the project, RFE is providing project management, co-ordination and interfaces, design and supply, installation supervision, testing and commissioning, and subsequent warranty support for the completed network.
